Got the parts for the truck from my SON INLAW to fix the truck, you know the one i own that he drives.LOL. He doesn't like paying 40 bucks every 2 days for gas driving his pig around.I guess he goes for a week on 40 bucks in my truck, now thats just funny right there.:looser:

The last step with this thing was to make New Grips. Black one is the one that survived the fire. Wood is from a piece of antique furniture that burned up, but I found a fair piece. Said to be cherry wood. I cut the shape out of a piece 3/4" thick, then I cut that piece in half, to form the two halves of the grip. That way the color and grain should be the same. Yes its a crack, could not avoid them.

No breakage... not sure if they used a slimjim or if my sticky lock on the passenger door didn't lock.

The strangest thing happened this morning, i went outside and my compressor & tire deflaters, which were also stolen, were sitting behind my jeep... WTF kind of thief does that?! and i know they weren't there before because i drove the jeep and i would have ran them over.

On a brighter note... what time should we be at your house on Saturday Scott? anything specific we should bring? Brandy will be making some jalapeno popper dip, anything else?
 
I got the kid making homemade refried beans,rice and we're buying meat.She was talking about making some homemade tortillas. So i would think we should be good to go.If you want to drink bring it with you cause all i have is water and soda. If you want to bring some chips that would work, we got some nacho cheese to go with them.We also have a deep fryer outside too.Can't wait to get this garage/patio thingy built.LOL.

OKAY folks.Anytime after 9:00AM will be fine to show up at my place. The cooler will be running and the garage is always open.If you want anything special you'll have to bring it with you.
I'm making beans,rice and meat for dinner.OK, the kid is.Yes my son inlaw is a real mexican and boy can he cook. I am thinking we can eat around 6PM and then we can sit around and BS till the sun goes down.NIGHT run around 8:30 i would think.

If you come here and no jeeps are here thats fine for you to go into the garage, there is a frig in there so make yourself at home.I'll have a couple of movies playing during the day too.I will be back within 30 min.I'll do check ins ever 30 mins for those who show later in the day so your not just sitting here waiting.

UplandHawaii, Staff saw what I was doing with the back up and offered to send Me a block of Koa Wood that His Dad used to make Ukulele's out of. So I've had some practice, bring on the Main Event. :)

You can just see what I meant on the grain having cut the wood from that single piece. It travels on the same plane from one grip, through the receiver and to the other grip.
Mind You Your only holding on with two fingers.:gee:

Get off at 1400 then gonna come home n change then pick Rice Racer Ryan up then head over.... My girl is a maybe as of now she has to work but that's fine cause maybe you guys might scare this one away! :)
 
OK, no problem.Not like we would eat her for dinner. We got food just for that this time.I'll tell paul and everybody else to be nice an not smell her like she is a snack or something ok.
