Been out in my garage, IT'S FREAKING HOT!!!

Just finished restoring and old Wilton Vise/anvil. I think Ma's step Dad said it was from WWII era. It needs to dry now, and I'll assemble and show ya. Yesterday, I restored an old compressor, Bobby gave me. It was his first double tanker for his nail gun. Painted it Cherry Red, Bright Fucher. Should work fine for My garage.:greensmok
 
HOT you say, ha..My garage is up to 80 right now...I had to come in the house to cool off...LOL...I have the t-stat in the garage set to 78, but it is holding at 80..I need to fix the roof and drywall the place, bet that would help in keeping it cooler in there..

What a wuss, i just checked the temp, it's only 106...

I think it was 108 here. A Cat burst into flames in the front yard today, it wasn't pretty.

This is the compressor Bobby gave me, painted, re-plumbed and I added the wheels.

This is that old vise I got from Jack long time ago. He had it in his scrap steel pile. It was rusted about solid. Some liquid wrench, a wire wheel, some sand paper, more liquid wrench, lacquer thinner, a whole $hit load of grease, and some paint (did I mention the clear and 3 coats of wax?:o).

Just about done, got my blueray installed today. I'm just short one card reader and a pci-e card. The card and a terabyte HD will be my new DVR. :) Oh and for those who care, I will be running vista ultimate 64 bit.

this was after the last of the fans went in, now its sporting a second vid card, 4 more hard drives, and every intake fan on it has a filter setup. wheeeeeeeee :D
 
Pretty cool, Mike. That's what the light up fans look like, mine has seven that light up and a couple that don't. You have to tell me about the LED on your Mobo. And how many SATA ports did you have? Do you know, can you share a port? I am out, and would like MORE.

This Antec case came with the filters, I thought it was a nice touch.

lol not sure on sharing the SATA ports Paul, my mobo has 4 SATA ports, and 4 IDE ports - I'm using all of them now. The LED on the mobo (reads d5 in that pic) is just a status readout, like a code readout in your vehicles computer. D5 means power up test passed, moving on to memory test - I had just booted it up in that pic. I like the fans running all the time but they kind of piss the wife off, it sounds like a jet turbine in here when I have them all going at once haha. There are 6 intake and 6 exhaust. I noticed this AM that dust is building up on a corner of the case, that means it is sucking air in there... gotta seal that up with some silicone.
 
So today was a good day...Max came over an dropped the doors off..If i put on some NICE flairs and these doors, i would be a mall rated jeep..I could climb the SPEED BUMP with the best of them...So watch out folks cause i'm coming after you...

Man i can't see why some companys(AJ'S) screw with you as much as they do.. Have you guys seen that tread? This is the same guy that screwed me for my bumpers(and a full season of off roading in BB)...I'll show this to the wife so she can say NO CHIT, what burnt,died,ran away from him, flooded or what ever this time.. But i got lucky cause i found JCR offroad and he made my bumpers...As soon as i can come up with the cash i'll be buying his rock rails for my jeep..
