I've looked at them EMT's ones awhile ago and i don't know how they would hold up with the twisting we do with our jeeps offroading. I'll keep it in mind.
Galvi would rust as soon as it got blasted with sand a couple of times i would think.I plan on storing it outside when not in use on the jeep. I'll keep my eyes open and see was pops up.

Some thick walled EMT might be all you need Scott... I've seen PVC ones...
Welding on galvanized material causes some bad fumes... so that needs to be considered.

I've welded galvi before. Good ventilation is a must (outside). An old welder told Me to drink milk afterwords, it soothes the irritation. EMT is designed to survive an earth quake, I think it would make a nice lite rack.
 
Looking GREAT young man.What type of 24 hr service do YOU give? Are you keeping the gas tank in front, this way you could carry a spare tank for your rig?I like the rims.

Thats a very nice looking setup, But it is out of my pocket range. If i had the cash i would hit you up for one thats for sure.I am trying to stay as cheap as i can with this cause the wife said NO to buying one. You got more in metal than i plan on spending. But i thank you.

atta boy scott! curts 24hr service is pretty private, you will have to find him in the craigslist personals if you wanna find out.. :D
 
By the way folks.I got the back done and wired up.Test ran the pump and she purrs like a kitten.Then the wife walks in.:wow:.Thats when the fight started.I had my numbers and was getting ready to cut the steal up when she said, can you do it this way?:gonnablow.She nows wants me to change the plan, so i said yes dear:loveu:.Starting to remove the stuff now.All the wiring is wrong so i got to change it again.REMOUNT the tank and what not.Try to see how i can interlock the tool boxs and ice chest.I love it when a plan comes together.Don't you? Back to the :repair:
 
So after i ate dinner and cooled off i went to remove what i've done.

But i had to stop cause i had something come in the garage.I noticed him when he was on my leg.I hit my head on the hatch trying to get him the hell off before he could bite me.

So if you bring one out here and I have only 100, then we're good right? I'll paint it myself so that will save you a buck or 2.LOL. Does this sound good to you? I'll tell everybody who i got it from.Hell you can put your name on it with your number.I'll take it to places like TDS,BB,KOH's just to name a few places.;)
