i dont know to run a 4.5in long arm or a 6.5long arm!! either way its going to be rough country but a friend of mine keeps bringing up the whole center of gravity thing and not go to higher then 5in but what you guys think?

I'm 7 over with 33's, no issues.

Hey paul what did you do with your old shocks? The ones you had on the 4.5 lift. The wifes jeep needs new shocks all the way around. I'll buy them

I'm using the same Bil's, though one is only functioning as a dampener, The seal for the gas failed when it bent. I don't think I'll get it hot enough to be a problem. Sorry.

They are just the right size now, now I know why the PO had those rubber baby buggy bumpers on them, they were too long for the 4.5" lift. The stops built into the rear truss fixed the going up too far and bottoming them out. I had to cut the rubbers off with the shock mount relocation, now they're just right.

thanks for the help yesterday scott... everything is working great. we got a lot done, steering is better, diff isnt leaking, fender trimming worked out better than expected.

next time:
modify rock rails
fine tune front axle (no bump stops, yay!)
bend rear flares for more clearance

Fixed it for you.Yea after looking at the stock bump stop and the bottom plate there is no reason to put anything into that 6" gap when your at full stuff.LOL. I need to take mine over and see if it is still like yours and not hitting it by 3 or 4" cause i have 3" in there now.Guess they didn't think of that when they built these front axles.:dunno:

How does it feel Scott?

whats that tone?
Your not talking about the wife kicking your ass are you? Dude i would say anything about that on here.;)
But hey with all the dirt you was eating your girlfriend didn't notice the chew you had did she?:D

Just saying.
By the way folks i heard him talking to somebody last night on the pohne.Yep it was only one sided,:twak: so it could have been a guy for all i know.

I got a guy who wants to do a night run SEPT 24th. What say you? I'm thinking we could try truck haven again if we could get tune to lead, he did a good job last time.:)

I posted up to get a head count.I'll post it again to see who is going the weekend before and thats it.So if you want to go, you need to keep up on this date. I got so much work to do to my junk i won't be on that much for awhile.I got to get mine done by the end of the month so we can do BB for the weekend.
Which is after this night run trip.No time.

Chit plus i got to finish up with Aarons stuff.I maybe late to getting my first trip in my jeep.LOL. Want to do a test weekend in NOV with it before i go out with a bunch of folks.

I'm looking for a ROOF RACK for FREE or CHEAP.I ain't got a ton of cash like tone does so free would be better. :). keep your eyes open for me please.

Thank you

you got a welder....make one lazy ass!

BUTT HEAD, what part of CHEAP or FREE didn't you understand? The price of metal would be over this right? Plus this is only for a weekend trips, not a full time gas eater.;)
Oh plus i would have to get a guy i worked with to come over to do the welding, it's got to be pretty too.:laugh3: Blinging on the wifes jeep.
