Hey brad, I like the one that scott has, they r JCR. I like how the ends wrap around o protect the front corner of the fenders. Also I like the end caps the match the rear quarters. Were u planning on doing that with yours or would that be extra?

I like building off of the 2x5 tubing better because it's a solid base and it has structure. A lot of those bumpers you buy off the shelf aren't made to smash into shit with. I want to make something you can hit one of those smart cars or a prius with and vaporize 'em. I'll be making some super long mounts too. I want some major tie-in to those frame rails (if you can call them that). I'd love to turn some into on-board air tanks too.

I had a VAN that was blocking a trail with mine, it did scratch the paint off, but thats all it did..You can see it in the first pic on the driverside.Hit it and moved it 6' off the trail.Yea it was fun

Thanks, Scott. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I want to be able to ram anything in front of me or pull anything with it. So, I will be over-building these bumpers. Only draw back would be weight, of course.
