So a funny thing happened on the way back from ROM

I drove into Mexia last night and stayed at my parent's house. It was great. Had homemade chili, cold beer, watched a movie, didn't sleep in a tent in freezing weather...you know, normal stuff.

This morning, I'm a mile from my parent's church when I start to feel some weird stuttering and hesitation with weird vibes. I get out, and there's smoke coming from the pinion bearing.:flame:

So after lunch, my dad and I replace the outer pinion in 40 degrees with the wind blowing in the middle of a parking lot. It was so seized that you could barely turn the yoke by stepping on a 3 foot cheater bar.

I left Barnwell yesterday at 4 and get home at 9 pm on Sunday.

Well atleast yours happened on the way home and not on the way there.

I only got 3 good things out of this weekend. Tom @ BMRA will "make things right" with us money wise, Chiaspeed was a big hit and the raffle was too. I just wish more people were as exiced about what they got as TOMTOM and Will were. LMAO I mean come on, Will did a dance was throwing tickets everywhere.

My only damage was that split tire. Which also cost me not being able to buy raffle tickets. I probably wouldn't have won anyway though.

Everyone got something. Even if they didn't win. I am sorry i didn't think abou this sooner. When you saw me then i was trying to warm up and not become hypothermic. I had ice forming on my jacket during the raffle. PM me your address and I will send you something. I got a few raffle prizes in the mail when i was gone. Nothing to exciting, sorry about that also.

i even got something and i NEVER win anything thats why i didnt seem happy but i was and the freezing cold didnt help any eather . I would like to say thank you to all the sponsers and everyone who made this happed it was lots of fun even with the cold :thumbup:

Other than the weather I still had a great time (Yes even with all of the carnage I experienced Saturday night), and it was great seeing everyone. I know we have a Rides of March Banner and all that, but maybe we should look at moving this event to a little later in the year so hopefully we can sleep well at night without worrying about SNOW!
