We got a couple of inches of fresh snow, may get more tonight. We have some high winds on the way for tomorrow. I would rather have snow and cold than wind and cold...burrrrr!

Boone is about to get a blizzard with up to 7" of snow and NW wind 25-35 mph with gusts to 55 mph becoming 30-40 mph at night with gusts to 70 mph. yea it should be interesting.

Been a misty/foggy/rainy and COLD day here. Supposed to get 40mph winds with gusts up to around 60mph tomorrow. I dont mind the cold, but I'm not a big fan of wind when it's cold. With the way the ground is so saturated, we could be in trouble if we get those winds tomorrow.

What I wouldn't give to be at my cousin's 30 min west of DC right now....40" of snow in less than one week! They got over a foot more this week ontop of the 2+ feet they got over the weekend.

That weather sounds perfect for a ride up the Beech main lift! That nice open mountainside ride... I've done that a few times in temperatures like that, the slopes were awesome and empty, but man that ride up sucked!

well class was canceled for the second time today because of this blizzard
