Its been snowing here in Knoxville for about 2 hours now, but not much is sticking yet. It looks about like KGP's pic from Fort Campbell.
Last I heard we are supposed to get 4-8" overnight with more to follow tomorrow.
We are getting hit pretty good in Nashville. I just saw the news and they said the worst will be tonight so we got a bunch left. I just took the MJ out for a spin and it did well. That lincoln locked rear end makes it interesting in 2wd.
Started snowing around 4:30 in Charlotte. Sticking to the grass and cars right now..but the temp dropped quickly so it should start sticking to the roads before too long.
Now they're saying it got colder over all and quicker than they originally thought...which means we may get more snow and less ice. Fine by me!
Just started here. They are still calling for 6-12" but right now its 37 degrees outside so it won't stick for a while.
I finished swapping shafts and carriers in the front axle of the trail rig so I can play in it now. I took the Longfields and Aussie out to put into my new axle and put in a open carrier and stock 297 shafts to get me by until I bolt in the polished turdy.
well, it's about 4-6" here in my neighborhood, and it's on the roads real good! woohoo!
i actually needed 4wd to make it to town a few minutes ago, and i loved it! i decided to dip off into this creek that crosses my road, and i drove in that for a bit, but the wife started yellin, so i turned around and went on home
We have an inch on the lawn so far, since 7:00, and a dusting on the roads. Not even enough to break traction. We are supposed to get most of ours from 4am-4pm Sat.
we had about the same out here in murfreesboro but for about the past hour its just been rain. I hope the temp drops and we get more and it not go away till the weekend is over I need to get out and break something. hahaha
Picked up a buddy tonight and went for a little Cary snowboarding. Had fun at the first spot we went to, then drove around scouting out more viable areas. Got a little muddy checking out a spot that will be killer if we get that 8 inches...
Started sleeting around midnight and sleeted all through the night. I'd say there's about 3-4" of snow with a fair amount of sleet packing it down. Boss lady called and said if I could make it in for a couple of hours it'd be great so she can tell the other employee's w/o 4x4 to stay home.

Ok, so explain what "Cary snowboarding" is! I'm assuming you're randomly picking nice hills to use as slopes? Haha. It's kind of like what we do here in Gwinnett co. GA when it ices or snows....Gwinnett Golfaking. Yup, we take our river kayaks to the golf courses! We have some pretty hilly golf courses around here so it makes for an awesome time.
