let me re adjust my position on the snow situation. it can snow all it wants as long as it stays off the roads. there.

alpha. can you post a link of the source you are getting your information from? i'd like to take a look and see why this is supposedly "the one." i just look at nashvillewx and they are very skeptical now to say how much we will get.

I'm gonna have to take a rain(snow)check on the snowball you owe me-- sadly, I'm stuck in Phoenix for a funeral and it'd probably melt before I got home to find it.

I'll still hate y'all if you get snow-- and chances are since I'm not there to enjoy it, Norfolk will get the biggest storm of all times!! Just my luck.

i know im getting it no mater what, just one perk of living in Boone NC, but the downside is nothing changes its just another day with snow.

i hope it snows arsehole deep to a giraffe, and then stays cold for at least a week. then i can say goodbye to winter and be good till next year. i wanna drive on icey dangerous roads. after all, it's why i have a jeep. of course you don't drive like you're on dry pavement, but it is part of our capability to be able to go and steer when nobody else can.

Looks like we're right on the line in Charlotte...South side is supposed to get mainly ice, North side more snow with a sharp cut off line.

you try driving a 6,000 lb 2 wheel drive truck with an open diff on ice. barely got out of my neighborhood last time.

For ice driving, does it help to air down? I tried it a few weeks ago & it seemed to work pretty well, but I never tried it with full PSI for comparison.

This morning when i was getting ready for work WRAL channel 5 (Raleigh, NC) said that we could see as much as a FOOT!

now i know that is total crap, but i guarantee there isn't milk nor bread left in any grocery stores...

i guess as we get closer we will see what unfolds. i could be down with some snow.
