snow storm

We have around 24" here in Loveland. Anybody want to come over and help me finish my transmission so I can go play.:bawl:

that storm came through and "hit" us in utah a couple days ago. some parts got hit with some snow. we just got 50+ MPH winds at my place and about 1/2 inch of snow. wish it would have done that to us!

We're at 24" noon.

no fun for me. no lockers and no chains, the XJ is stuck pretty good.

lockers didn't help much this morning. still took about an hour of digging and a tug from my xterra to get out of the 4' drift that i burried the xj in last night. now that i'm free though, i've been helping others out.

she's high centered, I gave up.

This was about 9 am yesterday. We ended up with about 14" and 33 mph sustained winds.

why the hell cant we get snow in WA:(

crap. oh well, looks like more fun stuff to play in when i drive thru in february.

I have a 32" deep drift on the top of my truck, and 28" sitting across the driveway and front yard. The back yard is kinda odd, the least amount of snow is near the house and then a large 48" drift across the middle of the yard between the house and the windbreak (4' fence and then 8 pine and elm trees.) The doghouse is burried.

This is almost as bad as the '03 blizzard out here, but we had over 4' of snow with that one - without the drifts......

I tried shoveling, but the wife and I are both down with a nasty head cold.... all I got done was a path from the house to the sidewalk and had to call it quits....

Had to yank Led out of a drift this afternoon. His neighborhood got hit a lot harder than mine, and its only 2 miles away. After I got him unstuck we did some more neighborhood drift bashin'.Had some pretty good 3-4 ft drifts to play in.:D

well at least yall can be rest assured you'll have a white christmas.

you suck, btw. send at least a foot of that snow my way and i'll be happy for xmas.

I had to go out and help some Colorado College kid from Texas unstuck his BMW. Couldn't find any front tow points, so we had to recruit one more person just to push it away from the curb. The streets downtown have very high crowns, makes it tough to get away from the curb, especially with high performance tires.

Put front chains on the lowrider= stock w/ bald 31s. Did OK last night till the front packed up with snow and threw/slashed the serp belt @ 4.5k rpm. Then today broke a chain.

All I can say is a locker is on the way for my XJ. I was the only person to show up to work today and the first person to make it out of the development. Still, it frustrated me seeing that my front two tires werent spinning in unison.

I've been shuttling nurses to/from Avista hospital since 5pm yesterday. I've been having a blast driving around the neighborhoods up north. The big dodge has no problems cutting through the very snowy side streets. Heck, I didn't even have to dig it out of the driveway.

Boy, I wish we could have snow like that in Minnesota.
Today we got about a half inch from your system. Haven't owned a snowmobile in years.
