XJ/MJ Winch Bumper

Follows our normal 560 series bumper design with a winch bucket dropped into it. Mounts are spaced an extra 3/16" out on each side to fit around frame tie-in brackets that I still need to make. Anyone got a CAD drawing and want to save me some time?

Also includes front frame re-inforcement plates, much like the ones the factory towhook kits use, which will also be available as a separate kit.

Turned out pretty cool, here's some preliminary photos.

Jason,
When is this bumper going to be put into production or is it already?

It'll be available for order soon. There's some behind the scenes paperwork that needs to get finished up first.

They'll be able to be picked up if you're local. Shipping costs won't be charged then, of course.

I drew up a towbar-to-dring adapter kit this morning.

HOWEVER

I don't think the winch bumper version will be compatible. The D-Rings are spread too far apart to be compatible with a towbar. I'd say towbars max width is about 35-36" and these d-rings are around 39-40" apart.

They did look a little wider than normal towbar. I can't even begin to tell you how many of your universal bracket kits I sold along with various bumpers for TJs and YJs. Seemed like a minor selling point, but a selling point nonetheless.

I like that bumper though...

Has any thought been given to extending the mounting brackets back further onto the frame for extra mounting points and extra support?

Looks good... nice design and nice finish work!!:D

Can't just look at the pictures. :D

Since this post I've finished the plates. Looks almost like this.

Any Info on pricing. My buddy has a Warrior Bumper on his XJ. Its a little thin but nice fit and finish. Might have to get myself one for Christmas :D

You've got to remember that Warrior doesn't manufacture products to appeal to the extreme rock crawling crowd. If that's what you do, then I wouldn't really recommend our bumper.

Now that said, on the winch version, only the outer skin is 11 gauge HRPO. The rest is 3/16" HRPO, and very stout.

As for pricing, nothing is set in stone, these are just estimates.

564 (standard winch bumper) - MSRP $609 which means the Quadratec's of the world will price it around $490

565 (adds D-Rings to standard) - MSRP $670 which means the Quadratec's of the world will price it around $540

56054 (adds brushguard to standard) - MSRP $690 which means the Quadratec's of the world will price it around $550

56055 (adds d-rings and brushguard) - MSRP $750 which means the Quadratec's of the world will price it around $600

All of these part #'s include the part #566 Unibody Reinforcement Bracket Kit as well, which is probably around $80 or so sold separately.

Oh i know. I don't plan on anything crazy. I really like the lines of the bumper though and may have to get one around christmas time. Keep up the good work
