slickrock tomorrow? (9-19)

finally got my jeep trail ready-ish and im gonna take on slick rock tomorrow.
All the trail maps websites say its easy so i figured i would hit it myself. but im super sketchy about that and "wouldnt mind" if someone else wants to come along.

im in Suisun and im leaving here at 9am, figure ill stop and get lunch near there somewhere and then get to the north trailhead at 1pm -ish.

send me an email if your interested (its easier than loggin back into this on my phone) and i can give you my phone number and we can figure out where/when to meet up.

I can't make it, taking the kids to the train museum and a ride on a steam engine!

The trail has been getting more difficult but is still manageable in most mildly built rigs. What is your build like?

Dont run trails alone if you dont feel comforable doing so

I just have a little discomfort. I know myself, my abilities and my rig enough to supress my pride and turn around or take a bypass if i need too. I wont be "alone" in the sense of only one person, just one vehicle.

I got a high COG lift.. lol. 6.5 iro long arm. 35s w/4.56s, detroit in the rear and ox up front.

Thanks for the words of advice guys... i just dont have much time left in the area and want to get some wheeling in before im in another country without my jeep.

you are more than setup for that trail.

Without your build specs I was worried , but with that build you will walk that trail and it will seem really easy to ya.

the smoke was bad last weekend, but I would imagine its getting better?

Awesome trail. Definitely doing that again.
Only had time for a north to south run. But i wanna camp it and "go both ways"
No trail damage although my idler pulley bearings went out on the way home. Made it just outside of Vallecito before she got put on a AAA flatbed for the rest of the trip home.
Maybe ill give more than a days notice next time.
