I understand what your trying to say yella, but no land was trashed in the flopping of "harry" the yota.I have put that yota on its side/lid infront of many members/presidents of clubs.... I also have been to many trail clean ups and wheel with people you have seen that are highly respected in the fourwheeling industry. Never once have i had a problem....... I could understand if I had left trash and parts of my rig on the trail as well as being hammered. But doing a simple flop come on.......

Sorry, but an intentional roll on a public trail is reckless. I don't care how you box it, it's just not something you should do. I don't care who you've done it in front of in the past, try and do it in front of a park ranger somewhere and see if you don't walk away with a ticket. There is nothing "responsible" about purposing tipping a vehicle, especially with people in it, regardless if they were tethered. Like Troy has said, when people are out there wheeling under our name, they project an image of us. And regardless of what you guys feel about the whole situation, there is a laundry list of people/organizations I am glad did not see that. Have fun out there guys, but be a little more straight edge next time..............

Here's a concept I sometimes present in my weelky toolbox meetings:

It doesn't matter how many times you get away with something and it's "OK". The only thing that matters is the one time you don't get away with it. Suddenly, it's not an acceptable practice.

We won't discuss how I came to embrace the concept. It's not on my list of "bright and shining moments."

In the end we had a good time and nobody was injured. The enviroment survived contaminent free and all dropped items were picked up. We left behind no litter and the trail is in the same shape it was in before we hit it. Lesson learned: If a vehicle rolls, no matter what the circumstances it was an accident.

No back to the topic ot hand, fun trail and good time for all. Lets do it again sometime.

spring creek sounds good to me just let me know and as for the flop it was fun and like everyone has said nothing was harmed nothing was damaged and it was under adult supervision...people always hate on others fun but when it comes down to it thats what it is FUN!!!kinda funny all these people love to see people put their rigs on their side and get back up or stuff like that but if its not them they have a hissy...back off and if you dont wanna wheel with me so be it..there are plenty of people that will!!!!i bet that most people in here have seen a video of someone who has put their rig on its side or lid and said oh shit that was cool..not once have they said omg he hurt that dirt.:fuse:

...back off

I don't have to. You purposefully did something irresponsible. Which you took pictures of and then came and posted in MY chapter. Careless acts like this do not benefit or promote my club at all. And I don't need them linked here. And I have NEVER seen anyone on NAXJA excited that they rolled their rig. Be it a fully body or a buggy. Just try and be a little more responsible next time, thats all I'm asking.

anyways, once again back on the subject at hand......

Spribg Creek sounds cool, I'm down for it just give me a time/date and I'll see what my schedule is. Although i do have one rule about going near Idaho Springs, it is required that Tommy Knockers gets hit up after the trail.

There some weird chicken looking bird seen up there here is pic. It crossed the road in front us. So hold why did the chicken cross the road jokes.

Maybe its a pigeon? We should weigh it. If it weighs as much as a pigeon we'll know its a pigeon, but if it weighs more than the pigeon we'll have scientifically proven its a witch. :)

No one here is denying that doing things like that isn't fun.... hell, if that 'Yota was mine I'd enjoy doing the same thing..... the difference is that no one should do it intentionally on public lands. That kind of "fun" will ruin our ability to be out there doing other fun things on those trails. You simply can't argue that.

Hugeorgan, please just look at this a bit more maturely. Attitudes like yours can and do make things worse where land use is concerned. You all would have had just as awesome of a day without the roll - and if the roll was the highlight of your experience out there...... you REALLY need to re-examine your use and value of 'wheeling on public lands.

Oh, and Harry Viking........ been there, done that... just not on purpose. :D And I appreciate your being mature and cool about our discussion here!
