Clayton 6.5" kit and don't look back
dude buy the rough country, send me all the extra money you would have spent on skyjacker or Rubicon Express, and have a nice day. If you aren't really into offroading then don't spend all that money on a lift that is so excessively expensive. A good inexpensive rough country lift is built strong enough for what you want to do in my opinion.
Good reason not to buy the Skycrapper kit.I am in no way implying that I'm not into off-roading, just where I live there is really no where that I can legally wheel without driving across the state to Rausch Creek. However recently I got wind that a guy in the next "town" over is looking to purchase 1500 acres to add to his 6400 he has now just to open a Off Road Park. I'm sure if there was something like this around here I would be more into off roading. So until then, why not build a highly capable rig the way I want it now so I dont end up going with it in the future anyways?

Well your not going to get one from them! And I really like the idea of a new subframe
Where? From a magazine or TV show, not in the "Real" world !why are there 3" kits held so highly?
Is it just the XJ kits that are crap? or all jeeps? I know a guy who ran nothin but Skyjacker on every truck he owned Dodge Ford Chevy and wouldnt buy anything else.
Thats pretty close, the unibody rigs dont take well to designs that are just there to look pretty. If you want your suspension to flex and not destroy your rig,you need to look for a company that specializes in them.Thats why there are so many (good)Jeep/XJ only companies out there! Is it just the XJ kits that are crap? or all jeeps?
