SJ Front Dana 44

I got a free SJ Dana 44 with vacuum disco. Was wondering if this axle is a waste of time. My XJ has vacuum disco. I would rather
not have the vac axle. Is there anyway to change it to a non-disco. should I keep it or passing it on. Also got a AMC HD 20 if anyone is intrested. already have a rear 44 dont need the 20.
