Has anyone here installed a Sirius Ready head unit with receiver and sirius antenna in their XJ? I want to do this in my 98 XJ and wanted to see if there are any issues I should look for.

PhunkadelicXJ has some sort of satelite radio in her rig, not sure if it is the system you are describing.

I have... its a cake job.. I just threw the main unit under the seat.. plugged in the antenna wire and the cable that goes to the deck... I ran the antenna wires along the roof and stuffed them into the plastic stuff where it meets the headliner.. then just ran it all the way to the back and mounted the antenna... took about 30 min for the whole job.

I have an indash reciever that is Sirius Sattelite Ready. I put the sattelite tuner behind the spare tire under the body panel, then ran the wires up along the body panels above the doors to the front. I had MJR do mine, and the only problem he came across was the antenna we originally put on the back, but the hatch would rub the wires when it opened and closed. So we moved it up above the windshield, and works great now.
