Sierrafest 2021 Picture Thread

I only took a couple of pics this trip. I blew out a rear coilover and ended up using the top of a jackstand as an extended bumpstop to carry on. Didn't make it to the second half of the trip in Deer Valley. Thanks to Allan, Blondejon, and Gordo (hauling in all that meat) for taco Tuesday dinner and to CJmike for background registration/$ tasks. Special thanks go to professor Byron (sp?) for the geology 101 lesson, whiteboard and all!

How did you break a coilover?

The bottom 0-ring seal/cap is fastened with an internal snap ring. I haven't taken it apart yet to verify, but it appears the snap ring gave way and the bottom cap blew off. Shock wasn't overextended since it's properly limit strapped. I just had the shocks rebuilt so it could be poor workmanship.
