Rims came this morning - waiting for the tire shop to mount the boggers on, but it will be mobil today. I'll post up a pic of it today hopefully. Had to buy rims sooner then expected since the lovely Indiana laws here, if you buy an outta state vehicle you need to have it present to sign title over. She could not explain either how I am suppose to drive a rig, that I can't get a plate for yet, over to the BMV.

Might be getting a different 8.25 too - this one already has a locker and 4.56 gears. As long as all my old parts I sold get picked up the wife will let my buy more stuff - lol.

Yeah I'll have to talk to the cops and see what they can do - sucks were I live though since the city cops don't deal with the area, and the sheriff is a lot further away.

Here's some night pics - had some issues getting the tires mounted (not the smartest tire shop ) I'll get some daylight pics tomorrow - maybe try flexing it too, to see where it may rub.

lol - yeah I guess I never formally introduced my rig:

92 sport
4.0 w/auto
231 tcase
30/8.25 combo
4.5 Rough Country lift - new leafs in rear
31x12.50 boggers

Thats bout it for now - just bought it a month ago so I've been fixing / adding mods to it.

Well its been raining all day so pics are a little dark - got a nice hum to it when driving on the pavement - gotta love it. Still pretty small compared to the ram, but should be fun. Can't wait to hit up some trails and get my lockers too.

Ram looks kinda small cause its got winter tires on now - summer time it rolls on 37" IROKs

When I hear that word...

I usually point and laugh.

Nice rig nonetheless.
say what you will, but Brianho13's rig rolled through the sloppy stuff in redbird.
boggers=great for nasty mud

Well I am ready to go anytime - my work schedule is a bit different so I am usually hit or miss when it comes to dates. Looks like we are planning a trip for the Badlands in a month or so, but they are still debating between there and Haspin. Haven't been to the Cliffs yet - the ram was a wee bit to big for that place.

To put a practical side on the subject ...

I'm not fond of mud, and usually "plan" most of my trips where I can wheel rocks. However, in this area you really need a tire that performs acceptably in both if you wheel locally. The only thing worse than having to clean mud off your junk, is to get stuck, then having to clean it off your self as well as the interior. I also use my junk as a "tool" ... meaning, as well as a toy, it also has a job to do. In the rural area I live in, you better have a tire that performs in the mud if you plan on driving off the pavement.

For Gil ... I doubt the Chicago area has the same kind of terrain. I would not recommend them for his junk since his "tool" is usually not put to work in the mud.

Randy, since you do not like to clean your "tool", you need a tire that performs well in the mud.

Les ;)

BTW: BFG MT's work well in manure too!
