Shooting guns on Mt Herman Rd.

Does anyone know where (if anywhere) along Mt. Herman Rd outside of Monument that one could do some recreational shooting? Anyone been up there the last couple of weeks? How much snow is left?

There is a good amount of snow and I know that there is a big portion of it that doesnt allow shooting..

I checked the forest service website and it has a crappy map of where you can and can't shoot but it is hard to tell. I am hoping someone has some first hand knowledge of the area.
