Shocks?

Got a question about shocks. I have an 89 xj, I want to get a lift on it some time in the not so soon future however I need shocks front and rear to get me through the summer. For general trail rides, some small rocks (Big Bear, Arrowhead, Calico, and Afton). What are some recommendations.

are you at stock height??? if so get some inexpensive monroe shocks or rough country shocks... the rough counrty shocks are nice and soft for the street side of the jeep, and good on the trail. Wait till after you lift before dumping the big coin for good shocks... just my .02 worth

Rancho RSX aren't too expensive and they work pretty good.

I have OEMs for all four corners, 18,00 miles on them when I took them off my '01. Interested?:dunno:

BTW, I'm in garage cleaning mode.
