My wife thinks I am going to sell it and buy a used Tacoma.

Disgusting.

Nice Jeep by the way. And I kinda like the white and black. Maybe paint the rack black?

wheres the ugly jeep?? must be behind that nice white one!! honestly, i like it. i hate it when you buy a jeep and it has those ugly running board steps though. make it look so family wagon. black the roof rack, put some big badass 8 inch lights, and call it a day.

and maybe a few stickers. they make it more powerful you know.....:rof:

Stickers are where its at, I think you should make the rack a little bit smaller and then put hella 500's on it. You do have a very clean looking jeep, not many people can say the same.

Just my .02

I am not sure what you mean about the steps.... My Heep never had any, and I'm not puttin any on there. I am gonna build some rock sliders that double as air tanks, but not steps. I think I will do something like the JCR's with the tubes that stick out. Like these.

I have an Alpinestars sticker, and an off road permit in the back window! Not much for stickers though. I work with a girl who has a bone stock Lancer with no exhaust and a set of 17's on it. She has every kind of sticker you could think of on that thing. It looks soooooo gay! Especially since her car has none of the parts made by the manufacturers who's stickers she has.

Stickers HAVE to add at LEAST 5-10 hp, don't they!?!?:dunno:

No stickers for this guy, too much like something a 16 year old kid would do. That white Jeep is a decent looking rig, but I agree with others about the top rack. Paint it black and call it good.

My wife is driving my XJ today, her Durango is in the shop and I'm relegated to the old Ford pickup. She said it took a little getting used to it from when she used to drive it stock, and getting in and out is a bit of a pain, but she likes it overall. Next thing you know she'll want to trade and I'll be driving the Durango. :D

thats freekin helarious !!!! i do the same thing. even my lil girls say it now. "damn dad, thats one bad ass jeep." or " hmmm, i think you need more stickers". lol

anyway, my $.02 it's a nice lookin rig........but.......the racks gotta go ! not sure just what it is, but it just looks awkward ? ? ? maybe you need some stickers ? ;)

LOL. i do the same thing too!..

even while i'm driving it! i hate buildings with mirror windows.

after i put the magnaflow sticker across the back my cousin and i were pulling out of his driveway both looking at the back window thinking i was going to get in a wreck.

same thing with the 76 on the hood.

i catch myself staring at that all the time while i'm sitting at stop lights.

when we were doing foster care we had a little 5 year old blonde girl.

that was when i first started putting it back together and putting some stickers on the front.

she would always come out in the garage and say "lookin' handsome!"

she was a crack up.

asking us if your jeep is ugly is like going to a bar and asking if anyone wants a free drink....

the only thing that needs done with the rack is a flat black paint job.

the shiny light colored paint exagerates all of the sharp corners and odd looking peices of it.

give it some black and it'll look just like a brand new rack out of quadratec magazine!

:edit: for the record i dont think there are any odd looking peices but if someone's going to complain about your rack looking weird, a black paint job will cut that down ATLEAST 50%.

fixed it.

and i like offwhite. it was the color of my first jeep an 85.

if mine wasnt silver i would want another off white. i really dislike pure white. not sure why.

but that jeep reminds me of my first one. same wheels even.

the only thing mine didnt have (aside from a rack or any other exterior mods) was the chrome grill....mine was a charcoal grey i think.

but as far as the rack goes....definetly bigger lights and a black paint job.

thats all you'd need to do.

you'd be amazed at how much that little bit will change the ENTIRE look of your rig.

and maybe the shiny tires too.....

WOW!!!!

Dude, do you realize your post ratio is about 50 to 1(everybody else) on the NWchapter? Maybe you should step away from the Rockstar for a few minutes.

I stare at my Jeep in the windows as I drive by too! It's a sickness. I will probably end up rear ending someone one day.

And the rack isn't painted. It's bare aluminum.:smoker:

I think I will paint it black though. And I will put some different lights on it. Thanks for the biased reassuring comments guys.

yea, i learned that my jeep can spin the tires at a dead stop. its one of those things you dont really wanna find out when you cant afford new rubbers....... but its SSOOO much worse when you can see yourself doing it

It seems you also have the sickness. I am going to call it.......Jeeperitis. There is no treatment for Jeeperitis. Relief can be felt by spending long hours modding or wheelin your Jeep, but this will only advance the disease.

you know its funny, my girlfriend is the one who got me in to XJs, i had a wrangler once... i dont like to talk about it. I swear to god if you guys tell her i said that, we will have problems. :nono:

haha i guess im lucky, she loves my rig.
