Long sotry short and yes i have been searching for 3 hours now, spun a pinion bearing had to pull the rear end, unhooked the abs rear wheel sensors at the control under the rear seat, put it all back together, bled the brakes and all, hooked back up the battery, now my ABS fualt light will not shut off, anyone have any idea??? thanks in advance

Lame idea? Did you connect them backwards?

no it was pretty simple, red to red and black to black, I have great pedal feel and braking, just absolutely no ABS (perhaps it a good thing and i should just remove the bulb), but in all honesty I would prefer to have abs system working when the wife borrows my ride

i'd guess you either whacked one of your abs sensors in the process or working, it does'nt take much at all to break one, or if you had the rear hanging down you could've stretched the wires and broke one inside the jacket.

What year is yours? I have every thing out from my 91, all sensors etc worked when I pulled it. If you need something and my stuff will work I'll get it to ya cheap/trade.

eeverything was unhooked from the abs?? thingy under the rear seat before I dropped the rear axle, i had re-intalled the drums and all to protect the wheel speed sensors, and had the axle blocked in the back of my buddies pick up so as to not allow things to smash about, this eveing I bled evrthing from the master back (with the ignition on, as per the fsm) and still had the fault, even tried disconnection the battery.................clueless right now

Blown Fuse? Maybe you accidently shorted something. I know you said your battery was disconnected, but if your 100% sure all your connections are ok, it's a 30 second effort to check the fuse.

i still say look over your rear sensors and wires, i know you disconnected everything and so forth but you have an abs light on that don't come on for no reason and the only part of the system you touched is those rear sensors. look into it better, check you connections, ever take them out to inspect them.
