search option disabled?

I noticed a couple items have changed on the main title bar. I no longer have the option to search. I tried checking the FAQ and this forum but didn't find anything. Did I miss something?

EDIT: Turns out my website hosting provider has a pretty cheesy email server. It's rejecting confirmation emails from . I put my old email address which is still good back in. I can now search again. Problem solved.

There's also a backend issue that I need to take care of in regards to email.

As far as search goes, I don't recall doing anything that would wipe out search. I see the search in the main index page toolbar, as well as inside the forums.

I noticed when I made my original post there was text underneath my avatar. It said something along the lines of "not verified...something something blah blah.." I double-checked my new email address. It appears when I made the address change in the User CP I never received the confirmation email. Changed it back to my old email and the confirmation came through. After that I was able to search again.
