what is the cut off between models? Isn't it like 95/96 ish? 86-95 are the same and 96 up are? as far as aftermarket products go that is...?

I'm just curious cause my '88 is in fair shape i'd love to find a newer body to swap everything onto...

1984-1996 is the older body style
1997-2001 is the new body style
