What a coincidence Jared, look where I went today:

Adam and I are in Moab for a spur of the moment trip. As you can see, his Jeep grew up. Somehow I always manage to have my Cherokee at the back of the pack at Devil's Pocket, I let him go for a solo photo this time. It was shitsleeve weather in Chesler Park, meanwhile Maria says New Mexico is getting a bit of winter.

His rig looks good! In the next day or two I'll be uploading my shots of our group in the pocket with your rig prominantly in the back all right, Adam can count himself lucky . I really need to go back there again this spring before my pass expires.

Love the pictures Jared and Alex. I will be in that area the first week of May and want to hit Lavender Canyon, never been all the way up there yet. Been a couple years since I ran Elephant hill also. Have either of you ever done the Colorado River overlook at sunset? Always nice!

Yesterday's scenic photo, from Hells Revenge:

No Von, I have not done the Colorado River overlook at sunset yet. We were thinking about it before heading up to Moab from Elephant Hill. The gate was open this time and we would have gotten to the end around sunset. We were all pooped due to a 5am departure and were hoping to get to Moab Rim Campground before Sue left for the day.
