Hey guys whats up. My husband told me about this board and so i decided to register and check it all out for myself. We both have XJs but mine is better, he hee. Anyways i just wanted to post up a hello message and show you guys that chicks dig mud too!
I would like to eventualy take the jeeps to one of your meet and greets and go trail riding but with one toddler and me being 5 months pregnant, it makes it a bit difficult but then again, what fun would it be if it was all easy..RIGHT!!
Were in the upstate N.Y. region so any events within 2 to 4 hours is always worth a weekends getaway for us and have some fun.

Hope to see some trails soon so until then, keep wheelin fellas!

Welcome to Naxja -- lots of good info to be found here. I live on the MA/NY border. I'm sure we'll meet someplace.

Nah...you are certainly welcome. There are a number of ladies on the boards.

I know that there were a handful of weekend runs, and I noticed that the user count was down everytime that I got on this weekend. Maybe people were just not logging in...who knows??

Keep hanging around the boards. You will learn a lot. When you get the change, get out on the trails or the meet and greets and meet some people. You'll be surprised at the knowledge and the rigs in this board.

Congrats on your pregnancy also. My wife and I are expecting our first in March, and I am in the middle of a build up of a 1990. I am looking forward to having a little wrenchin' partner....and if it's a girl...I'm looking forward to having a little wrenchin' partner!

Welcome to NAXJA

Don't girls have cooties?

yeah but the mud washes them away. when ever i meet someone new i throw a handful of mud on her. maybe thats why i can't get one to stick around. :gag:

Welcome aboard!

Welcome

I got my wife to run her fist full trail at COfest -thats her driving in my avatar- and she's hooked. That combined with the T&T rockrails I won for her in the raffle (thanks BOB)
Has finally given me the ok to build her XJ (which means I get to build mine bigger and transfer all of my current set up over to hers   ).

Welcome to NAXJA. Hope you can make it out to a run. I have been to several and I can tell you first hand that you will never meet a better group of people to be around. This is a very friendly and family oriented group.

Most important upgrade to do to your XJ is to protect it with armor. My XJ is stock w/armor and I have kept up with the boys on our runs.

So get your XJ ready and come to a meet. I think you will be pleasantly surprised what fun you and your family will have.

Again Welcome

Mary

Welcome to NAXJA

Thank you for the warm welcome and kind words. It means more to a pregnant lady if you know what i mean. In actuallity i put in my profile that my XJ is a 95 but i drive the 2001 forest green with tan interior and not much else then a 2" budget boost. With a 4 bedroom house one toddler and one on the way, its way hard to spend money on it.
The 1995 is my husbands and is quite trail ready but he is stubborn and wont take it out till he has all his armor, solid tow and recovery, and he keeps complaining about getting rid of the stock upper & lower control arms for double flex arms for more articulation and of course money gets in the way again!
He currently has 5-6" of lift done with springs and add a leaf, drop brackets for LCA's and the front sway bar has 2" drop brackets, way oversized tires (no idea on the size), trimmed the rear fenders, 1.5" shackles w/ extended bump stops, .75 coil spacers, steering stablizer, removed rear sway bar and front quickos. Some other custom work but you'd have to ask him...i just read all those parts off of his "check list" (Hahaa).
He also has lots of add ons like a full roof light bar w/full length roof rack loaded with a hi-lift, spare tire and 5 gal gerry can gas tank, front push bar, rear tail light guards, open air element air filter w/heat shield and an ANOYINGLY LOUD EXAUST THAT I HATE! I believe he cut the cat off and ran it into a flowmaster 40 and dumped it out the side.

Sorry for the chit chat but thats all i hear out of his moth when it comes to wanting something and im also a chick and we all chat forever!

P.S.= If you want a wrenching partner then my husband would be present!

Welcome!

Sorry about the initial post.

I would have been more welcoming, but I thought that maybe you were married to a gentleman by the name of Big-G, and that frightened me.

Im sorry but who is bigg and why would you be afraid of him in any manner? My husband IS on this board tho but we promised each other to not make note of it so that we each establish ourselves and plus it keeps it interesting when my hubby is always there when i need him!!

Tell me about this bigg character cause u got me curious now just like a female kitty! Hehee.
