Howdy folks, names Tim and I am the proud owner of a Patriot blue '01 four door sport named TAZ. Just got her back in March and have added a few things but being "Married with children" means I don't even have a budget.
Added so far:
New stock springs mounted on Iron Man relocate brackets via Zone 1" lift shackles giving me about 4" of lift. Used the rear sway bar mounts for BPE's but have home made BPE's (No binding) waiting to go in. Still need a new brake line and wanting to do a Hack and tap.
Up front I have 1 3/4" zone spacers (kind of looks like a Pro Street XJ) and the ZJ tie rod assembly upgrade. Plans for a long arm kit are in the works, just need the funds.
Doorless mod on the fronts but yet to do the rear.
Some other fun stuff I have done/made for her but pics are better than words, eh?
Bumper is a work in progress, I will plate the top section and then add headlight guards. I also have the stock bumper that I cut to fit the center section, just to give it some of the stock look (like the look, hate the tin foil). Both bumpers and the light bar were made from scrap steel I had laying around.
Anyway, I'm hoping to find a few XJ'ers somewhat close to share some trails with and maybe a few cold ones. Of course learning and sharing info about the XJ is a given.
