if your needing to buy all of the equipment, your gunna spend a few thousand on it all. well if you buy quality stuff. ive used cheap stuff before and trust me when your having to tear your blaster apart because of any issue it can become a long day! but owning all this stuff can be a money making oportunity if you got the time!

I'm assuming your talking about the exterior body panels? Sandblasting them can cause heat which will warp the panels. Have the vehicle plastic media blasted. About 4-500.00 to do a complete car. You'll spend at least 1/2 that for a good sandblaster, let alone sand, your labor, and cleaning up the mess afterwards, you're beter off sending it out. Plus no risk of damaging body panels.

I have a water/media blaster I use to clean up body panels. It is a syphon gun that attaches to a pressure washer, and I use silica as the media. The water cools the panel and keeps it from warping. It is pretty cheap to set up if you already have a pressure washer. You have to dry off the panel immediately after you are done or it will start rusting, and wear a waterproof blasting suit and helmet.

100 bucks or so at tractor supply for a sand blaster, then u need a generator. i get my "sand" from a metal refinishing company in town for free used...but free. that stuff in the store is exensive and sand can go fast.

By far the most expensive part is the air compressor. I have a 6.5hp w/80gallon tank and it is bareley enough.
