San Diego Trails

After all 30 years of my life living in the South Bay (with a few years in Pomona for College) I am moving a little further south to the North County area in San Diego (specifically Rancho Bernardo).

So, other than Ocotillo Wells and the desert area, what 4x4 trails should I get excited about? Didn't our chapter just do a trip down there? I'm trying to a little more excited about this move :spin1:

Welcome to San Diego. I'm in Rancho Bernardo as well... where about in RB will you be living?

LW and CC as has been said.

LW is super close and pretty fun IMO.

I think Pancake rock is open again, which is a good 1/2 day trip or more if you play around in the rock garden. Not as fun as CC, but much closer to town.

I would love to go wheeling again... but my Jeep is grounded with bad ring and pinion.
