It was your responsibility to find out how much shipping was BEFORE you agreed to have the part shipped...
Wether it costs $1 or $100 to ship...
Doesn't matter...
Always find out before you give the Ok to ship...
If he misquoted you a shipping price...
It would be a different issue...
Approving a shipment without asking a shipping price then coming here and insinuating that the vendor is ripping you off is bogus.
Get over it...
Look if the shipping wasn't almost as much as the part and if it wasn't his part that failed. His "HEAVY DUTY" part that broke on a pot hole in the road I wouldn't be so pissed off. Do I think that I got ripped off? YES!!! I paid for the track bar and the shipping once already!
I am pretty sure that I'm the one that said in my original post that you should ask Rusty what the shipping cost is before you agree to purchase, so that one has been covered already, thanks.
And as far as getting over it? I will... by never buying anything from him again. Oh yea and also by telling every one that I know about it too. I do the same thing when I get excellent service I tell every one about it.
So the REAL moral of the story is: If you want bad press, screw someone. If you want good press give them good service and stand behind your product.
