Rusty's track bar

Moral of the story?

It was your responsibility to find out how much shipping was BEFORE you agreed to have the part shipped...

Wether it costs $1 or $100 to ship...

Doesn't matter...

Always find out before you give the Ok to ship...

If he misquoted you a shipping price...

It would be a different issue...

Approving a shipment without asking a shipping price then coming here and insinuating that the vendor is ripping you off is bogus.

Get over it...

Look if the shipping wasn't almost as much as the part and if it wasn't his part that failed. His "HEAVY DUTY" part that broke on a pot hole in the road I wouldn't be so pissed off. Do I think that I got ripped off? YES!!! I paid for the track bar and the shipping once already!

I am pretty sure that I'm the one that said in my original post that you should ask Rusty what the shipping cost is before you agree to purchase, so that one has been covered already, thanks.

And as far as getting over it? I will... by never buying anything from him again. Oh yea and also by telling every one that I know about it too. I do the same thing when I get excellent service I tell every one about it.

So the REAL moral of the story is: If you want bad press, screw someone. If you want good press give them good service and stand behind your product.

That's right Neil, they are guilty of overcharging for shipping by a long shot.
I just bought tires online from tirepackage.com and paid $7.00 each to ship also just bought wheels from quadratec and they were 5.99 each to ship
so yes you were taken for a ride and that rustys place is "just wrong"

Neil,
Let me ask you. How many days did it take to receive the TRE? Did you request air or express shipping?

I ordered it three days ago. I never asked for air or express I told him it was no big hurry, that may have been a mistake too.

Three days from AL to CA. I bet he mistakenly hooked you up with express shipping. $20-$30 sounds about right for that. Im not defending him, just saying it may have been a mistake.

No, I ordered it three days ago and I still haven't received it yet. So if he did hook me up with express... It's not very express...
