running 35s with 355s

I say we go for it you should come to just because you go doesnt mean you have to run the hardest trail there it is just like florence junction there are alot of trails in one small area.
 
WOW.....where have I been for this one....I swear, all of you people here(especialy that hinkley guy) dont know your a$$ from a hole in the ground....I took the 3.55's OUT of my XJ and put in 3.07's....Now I can do almost 110 on the freeway with my 35's. I did however have to get a longer throttle cable from a 1972 Scout with a 345. I did this so I could push my gas pedle down more. I think I might have got 3 mph out of it on the top end!!! Best mod yet. As for a trans cooler, I have taken 4 F350 coolers and stacked them and ran them in with the factory rad cooler. Not only does it run cooler, but it added almost 4 quarts to my system......you guys just need to stop being so mean to him, we are obviously better drivers than everyone here, cause we dont need gears to wheel.....so you guys go ahead and waste your money.....and as for hinkley......bring it awwwn...that cobbled together rat trap, death mobile of yours is my next obstacle...

Nah, I wont be in JV this time, But I have seen pictures and I think my jeep would do ok... Why do they all give you a hard time for not having spare parts???? If you build it right (like jeep did) then you have no need for it....I mean I have like a strap and stuff likeWD-40 (for my hi-lift) but I dont need all of that other stuff...These guys just build their stuff with their wallets and not their brains....

Never heard of that place....I run the hard trails here in AZ like crown king, coke ovens and the such.....I ran lower terminator once, and it kicked my ass.....wont do that again......and who the hell is driveway joe....I mean, my jeep is in the driveway, what are you trying to say??? Who the hell is this "beezil" guy??? You know, I really think all that heat in the Valley(of the Sun that is) really starts to affect people after awhile. Or maybe all the pollutants, or maybe just the close proximity to Napolitano makes you Southers ill.

Anytime that any NAXJA member is heading through Flagstaff, AZ, you are more than welcome to drop me a line and we can shoot the shit(or kick it or whatever), and we can go down to Sedona. It isnt the hardest wheeling, I wheel there after all, but the scenery rivals anywhere in the world.

Have fun in JV all....I'll be expecting some pics of the rig, and the humble pie.

Someday I'll get the HC on my junk so I can come out to JV and play..... looks waaay fun. For now I'm stuck with just Moab, 5-6 times a year.
BTW, I heard a rumor today that the area that Lower and Upper PG is in was sold (school trust land) and the new owner is closing it and building a house out there!

Why is it that every time I see a shot of driveway's junk he's got one front wheel hangin' a mile down and his rear ain't doin' squat? Must be the 3.07's. Better stop hitting the bacardi spritzers Joe. Somebody send me a couple thousand bucks so I can see this go down AND show the west coast wreckin' it crew how to wheel backdoor and taint.
 
This thread is my latest entertainment! Reminds me a little of the Redneck Days of our Lives thread on Pirate, except here it's a little more civil. Not all of us in the heat are quite as fiery as Joe. I'm just putting the finishing touches on to be able to move up to 33's, big move for me :). I haven't made it all the way through Martinez Canyon yet either, made it halfway in 113* heat with 31's, no lockers, and no damage, and mighty proud of it. Keep the smack talk coming though, it's great to read, and all the extreme pictures are cool too.
