Rubicon Trip this Summer

Shafts! Rear alloys what they call them. Figured the stockers lasted 20 years so the alloys should out live me. I called Currie this afternoon. They said they are ready. I'll pick them up tomorrow, Wed. If it's not too hot I'll put them and the 3rd member in. It's been real hot my work truck a/c is out and it's suppose to be hotter and humid tomorrow and worse as the week goes. I get home and try to chill.

Picked up axles installed center section and the new shortened drive shaft is 1/4" too long! Feces! Now I either raise it back to 3/4" like I had before or have the shaft redone??? Definetely out, no go for me!!!

i never had a problem with my dogs barking half the night when i took them camping either.

She's good...

Got the tubes removed yesterday. They said 10 more days for the stitches...

She's going to have to wear a t-shirt the whole trip so that kind of sucks for her if it's hot.

bummer man, wonder why they said 10 more days, was she picking at it? a white shirt might not be too bad though, reflect some of the heat off of her. cut some vent holes up top, worse case scenario.

They said at least a week, probably 10 days... I didn't really think much of it. Does that seem long? She licks it all day through the tee-shirt but hasn't been chewing on them as far as I can see.



I'll get her a couple wife beaters for the trail... shouldn't be too hot.

when max got attacked at the dog park, it was about 10 days. however, it was his ear so it's not like he could lick it. i guess another week would be normal, i forgot it was less than a week ago.

Great meeting you, we just got off the con. Badass trail. No major breakage. Getting some lunch in tahoe, then heading south. The plan is to stop in bishop tonight. Pics when I get home
