I have my ass ready to park in someone else's rig... Terryg if he's still going, or whoever. I'll co-drive & split gas costs & all. Not gonna torment myself, my rig or my co-wheelers with trying to get Cali thru the Rubi as she is now.

But I took the week of June 28 off work, and I hope to spend it up there!!

I know, Julio. I don't have it to spend, until I'm willing to commit to running up an unpaid credit card balance...which'll happen soon enough. But even then it wouldn't be logical to get all I NwEaEnDt.

I want/need to be back in So Cal by Thursday mid-day (July 1)... so I would like to be off the trail by Wednesday June 30. I can be flexible, but this would be best case for me.


Ideally, we would leave So Cal on Saturday June 26, and plan to be on the trail by Sunday June 27 (as all the weekend crowds are leaving).

That would give us Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed (morning) to run the trail which should be plenty of time.

I just picked up a locker tonight and going to install it tomorrow, so I will have at least the rear locked.
