rubicon moab wheels and tires

ok, i have a set of 5 moabs im looking to get rid of. they are the 16 x 8 and have a 4.5 x 5 bolt pattern. they are in good shape with only small scuffs here and there. the wheels are the spun aluminum faced and painted inserts. 4 of the wheels have firestone destination mts size 265x75x16 and 2 of them are pretty much shot. the other 2 have lil life left maybe 30% tread. they 5th wheel has a never used goodyear mtr and its a 245x75x16. i dont want to take the tires off the wheels,

$450 for the set of 5 wheels and tires. picked up. they are in des moines iowa.... i really dont want to ship, ive gotten quotes and its around 50 to 60 per wheel so..... thanks for looking

well, do you have anything for a dana 44 or 9 inch? thats my focus right now. im trying to get my new axles finished to put under mine so i can shred some snowbanks this winter.... im needing some chevy small bearing spindles, d44 bearing rebuild kit, 9 inch 4.56 gears or maybe some warn premium lockouts...

i would be willing to meet up with you if you do want them... just toss me some gas money and i would be willing to meet up somewhere in central illinois... like i say, i need them gone so i can continue on my axles.... thanks

btw, where in michigan are you located? i go to red bud every year for the atv mx national...
 
mount pleasant, go to school at central. i live in lake city, about 20 minutes from cadillac. i have no idea where or what the motoX race your talking of is. let me get to you tomorrow. bonus check is coming in sunday from work. may have to pull the trigger on these. still a serious inquiry without the bonus though.

as for meeting, i was thinking chicago area. was hopping that would be close enough for you to make and be content with $400. (i dont have any of the parts you mentioned.)
 
Dang, idk bout chicago... That's 6 hour drive one way for me. Yeah, I looked up lake city and your up there a ways. Red bud is right up to the northwest of south bend indiana in mich... I'm in des moines iowa so I'm towards the middle of iowa... Princeton illinois is about 4 hours for me and that way kinda where I was hoping you'd meet me at.... Let me do some thinking about it..
 
awe, this years event was the first weekend in aug. i wont be back that way till next year. seems to always work that way... haha. heck, these wheels came off the jeep i bought outta texas. drove down, picked it up and drove it home. my newest xj is from flordia. flew down and drove it home. so i know all about driving all over the place to get what im after.... two of the three quads i have where over 30 hours round trip each. haha
 
darn, was praying that it was in the near future. lol. guess we cant always get what we want. ill look at my schedule an try to arrange a meet with you.

and i know the feeling to get what you want. bought a red 2 door with a stroker from a gentleman in Wi when i was living in Va. ended up meeting in detroit at an uncles house and completing the sale. left a jeep there to be picked up later and drove the new jeep back home. the gentleman took the amtrack home. i worked friday, left for Mi saturday, returned on sunday to Va, and was at work again on monday. NO FUN.
 
the prospective outlook isnt good.

i go to school full time at central michigan and work full time at home depot as well. i wont get a weekend off until mid/late october when i have an upcoming break that i have taken. ill look to find a friday if they are good for you. would probably be in the evening as my class on friday ends at 2. let me know.

im willing to make a drive, but ill have to hope you dont sell them by them. (story of my life with these wheels).

if your sure you want them, you can give me a deposit or pay for them and they are yours. we will set up a meet and take care of everything then if you want. up to you...

also, i suppose it would be up to you on if you would want all 5 or if you would be good on 4 and i give one to jeepxj4play.
 
I am in Madison Wisconsin and Des Moines is a haul but if you would meet me in cedar rapids ill come pick these up saturday or sunday.

I would but i have one problem. my cherokee is not drivable at the moment and all i got now is a subaru wrx and an acura integra. neither one makes for a good pickup. cedar rapids ia ( assume you ment iowa) is only another 1h 30m away from here.
