RPM Flucuation

About two weeks ago I posted a question regarding RPM flucuations that were occuring while at crusing speed, 2,200 to 2,500 RPM. My thought was a faulty TPS sensor. The Haynes manual details how to check this with a digital volt meter. My check showed too much voltage in the closed position and too little in fully open positon. A new TPS sensor has solved the problem. My local parts store wanted about $80, I paid $40 at Auto Zone in Southern CA. If you change yours use some penetrating oil before you start as the factory used thread locker.
Thanks for the help
