I will look into the battery idea. After she's warmed up the rpm are at 500 and the check gauge light will come on as the PSI reading drops to 0. Maybe a different mechanic is a start. Tonight I drained a qt of 15W40 and added some straight 40 to the engine to see if that helps a little.
