Rough Country Rocks

I have the 4.5 inch kit on 35's. I wheeled it with 33's for a while, then cut my fenders and went to 35's. Then I upgraded to their drop brackets, and its even better now. I purchased this kit and several others through Jason. He is great to work with, and always makes sure he gives me the best price he can as well. I will continue to do business with RC and Jason anytime I can in the future. The ride is great, and I beat the snot out of it regularly.

Rough Country
Front coil springs,
front lower control arms,
transfer case drop kit,
swaybar links,
brake line relocating brackets,
(4) RC Hydro 8000 series shocks,
rear add-a-leafs and shackles.

Rusty’s KIT INCLUDES:
• Front 4.5" coil springs
• Rear 3" full length add-a-leafs
• 1.5" rear extended greasable shackles
• Fixed front lower control arms
• Front hydro preformance shocks
• Rear hydro prformance shocks
• Adjustable trac bar
• Transfer case drop kit
• Brake line extension kit
• Grade 8 U-Bolts
• 6 degree shims

The only different that I see is the track bar is not included with RC’s and the shims if that’s worth the 2 bills to you then I guess rustys if not I would go with RC’s

What I am going to do is buy the Rock Krawler track bar and put an 8.8 under the rear so I will set my pinion angle. I have the RK track bar and I love it. I like to miss and match my lift kit so i get the best of all worlds. I bought the add-a-leaf because i plan to build the S-10 pack

You can get the Series II 3 in lift from RC and it comes with control arms!

I agree RC is a good outfit.

I ordered my shocks and they gave me a good WF price
and quick shipping. Beat on em at WF.

Thanks Jason!

I agree, Jason rocks! I ordered their 4.5 kit and had a couple problems but I called him and he took real good care of me.

Just got a chance to test out the suspention this past weekend. It worked great. I couldn't tell you how many times I heard about how my suspention was flexin.

I'll be back for more parts because of Jason!

How long have you had it on? It will probably settle a little, but mine is still more than 4.5 even after it has settled though.

I just ordered their 4.5" for my 1990 Wagoneer based on this thread, can't wait to start installing it. Jason hooked me up with a great price.. any tips or things I need to look out for on the installation?

One word.... Prybar. Make sure you have at least one or two handy. I have installed at least 6 of these lifts, and it will make the install go much more smoothly.

Ok, definitely will have one of those handy. I guess is there anything else that I should replace while I got everything apart? It's almost 20 years old now so I'm sure some stuff is probably worn down pretty good.

Ok guys taking this to the top again my wife Click's jeep was in need of some attitude adjustment. I bought it for her for are 5 year anniversary and for Christmas she got a 4.5” RC lift kit. So on Tuesday night I brought this home and Wednesday it went in to the shop not to be the same again.

So here are the specs 4.5” RC lift with drop brackets this is her daily driver so I wanted the road manner to be top notch and I like the way my drop bracket work on my Comanche so I wanted them on her jeep. We will be running 34 x 9.5 tires trimming the fenders and adding bump stops as needed.

So here are the pics of her Jeep

I will post pics of the jeep when it is done.

Thanks again to Rough Country

Leave it like that.......its that COOOOOOOLLLL pre-runner style suspension dude! Totally! Like awesome. LOL

Lets see a close up of the drop brackets if you dont mind. I am actually really interested in them and just wanna see what they would look like on the 4.5" Lift that i will be at in a week. I hear the ride is soooooooo much better on-road. Off-road does the suspension have alot more range of motion because its back to stock angles? I would have to say yeah.

Oh and I would love to see the rear when its done! It'll be a very different Jeep(heep). haha

I will get some better shots of the drop brackets. i am running the stock arms for right now.
