RoM 2010

There will be plenty of good spots! The place is huuuge.... I'm not sure where everyone will be tent camping, but I can say this. We will have an RV there, and as far as I know if the rest of the group wishes to camp nearby in their tents it should be fine.

I've never been, but I'm sure I'll get to know it quick. How many days left?! :D

who knows from personal experience on the hotels down there? i don't need anything top notch but don't want to catch something from sleepin in the beds. i prob really wont be in there that much anyways

There is the Gilmer Inn and the Executive Inn, I think there is one more but I am not for sure. I have stayed at the Gilmer Inn a few times. It's pretty clean and the staff seem to be nice enough.

Nice enough. Key phrase.

good choice... ALL the cool kids (society call us adults, lol) are doing it.. myself included. I may end up in the back of my Jeep (I have no rear seats) like last year. It was actually really comfy. But will be bringing the camping stuff as the first thought...

It was cold as hell during our Fall trip a year or two back. I got in my jeep and turned the heater on full blast at sunup. Woke up an hour later after everyone had eaten breakfast and cleaned up.

Thanks for waking me up guys.

It shouldn't be TOO cold, I mean it will be in March. I would think just a good thick sleeping bag/blanket would suffice. Also if you guys camp near us in the RV there is a possibility you can have electricity as well. I have a couple electric heaters I can bring, they have a safety feature built in so that if they tip over, they turn off.

...I don't like being too crowded lol.

Well x2 and I will be in the RV area. I don't think they will want abunch of tents around an RV. I am pretty sure they won't care if a few rent out RV spots, but you have to ask them. Now there is a primative camping area very close to the RV area.

Yeah, I would chip in and see if they would let you guys put 3-4 tent spots on an RV spot, then we will all be close together, and you could have electricity for heat.

Also here are some pics of the Crawler's Grill that we will be using for concessions.

I don't know about supplying, but lets just say that I shall have an abundance of alcohol along for the ride.

Yup, it is a sweet grill, and we need to make sure to take the best care of it!
