OK, so as far as i know we dont even have a site for the group yet?? or do we?? last year it was xterra's spot???? this is something that needs to b figured out soon. I/WE (wife n daughter are comeing) would like to rent an RV spot for truck n trailer with tent?? can we do that??

OK, just spoke with them, and was informed that you cannot reserve RV spots, it is purely first come first serve. Since several of us will be permitted to be there the day before the park officially opens for that weekend, we can secure as many RV campsites as we need. LOL Just get with Kurt, and let him know.

Yes we will be up there one day prior but I am not sure if the office will be open that day. We will more than likely have to do all that Friday morning.
I can see if we can go ahead and pay for the spots you guys want, then pay us back. But thats a MAYBE plan... I wont have them money to pay for 10 RV spots for the whole weekend. I would guess the best way is for people to get there early on Friday.

But this doesn't address the people that are coming Friday. WE NEED A PLAN for the campers. What site are we using, Xterra(do they know this so we do not meet there gang there and have no room) or are we talking to BM about getting that spot on the hill that we all talked about a ways back. The park is still open to anybody that weekend so I do not want to rent all the RV spots for tenters, its just not polite for all the tenters to take all the RV spots since we can tent really anywhere you know....
According to the poll most people are going to be camping. So lets take care of them. This is only a little more than a month away so we need to help people plan/know where they are going to be. So that we(the volunteers) know also...

There is plenty of room for primitive camping near the RV area, and I was just thinking that the majority of the tent campers can just set up shop there. That way we would still all be relatively close to each other for hanging out at night and cooking and stuff.

Agreed. There is a primitive camp site right around the cornor from the RV spots. The X-Terra Site (as per Chia) is pretty much open to anyone. Their club does not go the as much as they used to. BMRA is pretty much, from what I understand, first come first serve on any of their camp sites.
Honestly, the way I look at it... Camp where you want to. I don't want to make the call and say "Camp here", then everyone hate it. If you want to be close to the Pavilion, RV sites and everything else we have going on, camp near us. Remember the top of the mountian is drier but rocky. The valleys have "softer" ground but are alot more wet, remember last years RoM? We have to move the camp site over for a drier stop.
Oh and the RV / Primitive camping near by has port-o-crappers near by. Unlike X-Terra.

They will make a killing that way. Say 5 tents on a spot at $15 a tent (if I am reading that right), they will make $75 off of one spot.
