There are plates that bolt to the floors. Most of the kits iv seen are this way. It would be up to you or whoever you have install to come up with a way to tie it to the frame.

I'd never wheel an XJ on the rocks without a cage again.....

Thats a killer price on a decent cage. I paid over $2300 for my work.
Just make sure you tie it into the floor good.
