Just don't get in a hurry, expect 4-6 weeks easy. Good product though.

i work at machine shop so i can get dom cheap and i have welder, plus i want to be able to say i created, i just need some help in where to weld it....

My cage from JCR goes through the floor at the A and B pillars, and also in the cargo area by the hatch. The tubes are welded to "perches" that are attached to the framerails. I can take pics tomorrow morning if you like.

Either to plates on the floor or sleeve the frame rails and weld it to that.

I welded my cage to 3 X 3 angle iron, I cut the floor so one of the sides went down along the frame. I then tied that into the frame stiffiners I made.

For the rear, I cut out the top of the shackle box and tied the cage into the shackle bolts.

I boxed my shackel boxes though.

Hope that helps. If yours turns out good, I may be heading your way when I get the 01 ready for a cage!

doesn't MI use that crazy liquid stuff.

we still use good old rust causing salt here in OH.

That cage has lived in Indiana, which uses good old salt/molasses mix.

I should have painted those perches, but out of sight out of mind.

Very short beads, the uni will burn through faster than you think,
Practice with sheet metal and 1/4 plate or something first.
Spent most of your burn time on the heavy and carry the bead to the uni, than quickly return.

It will take a lot of practice!
