Whats up Brad, good job cleaning up all that rats nest of wiring!
Wiring always takes alot longer than you think, and LOTS of patience!

Got the dash panel in.
This guy does beautiful work. The pics truly don't do it justice.
And priced right if you send him the prints in vector (CAD) form and he can just plug them in.
He charged me $100 complete.

Well, got her out of the garage under her own power.

Steering seems to be working fine.
Heading to Attica tomorrow to see how it all works.

have you ever had problems with the plastic things that you are mounting the coolers with breaking or causing damage to the coolers and radiators?

i used to mount mine that way but had some issues and on the last build went with tig welded brackets to hold them on...

I've used them on the XJ and two incarnations of this buggy without issues(so far).
I do use the foam rubber sticky pads. Squeezing down on them keeps pressure on the plastic clips which seems to keep everything held tight.

Hit Badlands for a little testing
Exceeded my expectations.
Walked stuff I fought through last year.
Everything worked well; Temp stayed under 160.
Steering was good and mostly smooth. Needs a little more oomph at low RPMs.
Upping the pump relief valve to around 1500psi should do it.
Also, had to pull the ram Monday to add internal stops; a little too much stroke.

Here I just basically pointed it at the rocks with no thought of an actual line and let it find it's own way through.

Got the body mostly hammered out.
Started with a Land Rover Disco doghouse.
Fenders and hood are aluminum.
Hood needed a tiny bit of narrowing to fit:

Cut out the rear and top panels
Got everything in place with dzus fasteners:

Waiting on side corner (blinker) lights and a grill to finish.

Time to wrap this thread up.

Not sure if Land Rover had this in mind when they made these vehicle stickers :gag:

All and all, I'm very happy with the results.
It performs far better than the rig I started with and weighs in at 2840lbs; down 400 from before the crash.

Of course, I really like how this thing turned out, but two little things I really like ... You have the side mirrors tucked in really nice like you plan on keeping them, and, I'm not a real fan of stingers, but you have that one tucked up nice and tight. I like this one!

Great job Brad!

LMAO ... It could have been worse ... he could have tried humping me all the time.

I can deal with the fact he just does not like me. No disgrace there!

Les

BTW: Nice pic of the ass hole!

Very Nice.

Almost too nice.

Rev
I know what you mean.
Heading to Colorado in 3 weeks to do Indy, Holy Cross, and Carnage.
I'd better save these pics. :D
