Looking at the pics though looks like most of that would have "buffed right out!" :shocked:

Also want to clean up the rat's nest of wiring:

Pulled everything and starting over:

Then my aluminum shown up.

Time to cover the skeleton of a trans tunnel:

All held together with dzus fasteners for easy teardown.
Waiting on boots for shifters and rear drive disconnect.

This is my job.
It doesn't pay well but at least the benefits suck.

God, I hate electrical crap.
Spent all Saturday trimming down the wiring harness.
Started with this little slice of heaven.
Harness was about 3' longer than nesessary and when I stripped away the tape I found this wonderful bit-o-goo:

Made following the wires an even nicer job than expected

Finally got it all cut down to this:

Here are the leftovers:

Back in place.
Hopefully everything starts.

And my new BCS (beverage containment system) arrived.
