and time....and the UPS guy.....

Yes... our area of the MWC doesn't have enough wrench fests.

ok, my junk is fixed from wheeling yesterday (just minor stuff) so I will definately be at rockport on saturday. i should be there around 9 when the park opens. if you plan on going, let me know so i know to meet up with you

Do you have an open passenger seat? My MJ won't be ready.

Still contemplating the possibility. Haven't taken the beast on any trails since August (this is when the wife and I began work on our new house) so have a couple things to look over first.

Trying to get What Rd interested. Waiting to hear back from him.

Agreed

I was at Rockport the weekend after Thanksgiving, but I was on the dirt bike. Haven't had my Jeep there in quite a while.

Ok, I'm interested enough . . . just waiting for approval. My boys' birthday is Friday and their party is on Sunday. Trying to sneak a wheeling trip in on Saturday will be tight, but then the sides of my Jeep look as though I'm fond of tight places. Plus I'd have to drive the XJ there because with company coming tomorrow night there's no time to get the trailer and get all loaded up.

We'll see. It has been too long.

IntrepidXJ,
I have talked things over with What Rd and we were wondering if you would want to start your day off on my personal trails. They are located just 30 minutes north of Springfield. You would be able to hit my trails, then head over to Rockport a little later. What says you?

If you e-mail me, I can give you my number and we can discuss over the phone.

THAT was a good morning of wheeling. Three comparably equipped rigs hitting some challenging trails the morning after some rain and snow. All three winches got a workout. All three rigs got small amounts of body damage. Randy even spotted the rock! That was a good time - Thanx Kyle!

Umm, no, you didn't. I had to hand wind the slack in, just to get 2 wraps around the drum. You were MAXXED OUT

Yes, that was some fun. Randy, glad you were able to make it down. It was great meeting you. You are welcome back anytime. Hope you still had enough time for some fun at Rockport.

What Rd quickly found out why I had my winch control hooked up, before I even left my house!

So,
how was it? I looked at your pics and it appears you got stuck a couple times. Did you find anyone else to wheel with, or did you have to go it alone?
