I have been running my Rockkrawler long arm upgrade for about a month now. I love it. My only issue with it is regarding maintenance of the arms. They came with these rediculously small grease fittings (10-32) and they have all broken except one.
I tried being careful when greasing, but they just seem to snap if a large gust of wind hits them just right.
I called RockKrawler to order a few more, and while discussing it with the phone rep, he kinda made me feel like an idiot for breaking them, Like I was doing something wrong and he had no clue how I broke them.
I asked him why couldn't I just drill and retap for a bigger sized zirk, one that will not break and he told me " oh no, that can't be done. You don't want to do that" but offered no expanation as to why.
Anyone with these arms upgrade your zirks to a standard size with better strength?
