Rocker Arms

Remember, Ebay isn't the answer to everything (I sometimes think it isn't the answer to anything...)

Cultivate a good working relationship with one of your smaller local parts houses - I could probably get rocker arm kits and pushrods for about $100, and walk home with them (it's only a mile...)

funny, i was not even looking at ebay... and when i did i found them! amazing... although they are for a 93, which may not be the right ones. does anyone know if they changed them over the years?

thanks

I'm pretty sure they're the same up to 1998, and i think 1999-up are the same parts as well (that's without referring to my notebook - I've taken the day off from working on my book...)

If you're fully in love with mailorder, you may want to check out www.morris4x4center.com - they've got good prices. The principal reason, tho, for getting in good with your parts guys at a small shop is that you pick up room to negotiate in a pinch. I get jobber at my local already, but the amount of money and time I spend there has bought me some "leeway" just when I need it the worst, and I can all but go around the counter at will and leaf thru the parts catalogues. If they see me go thru a book more than twice in a short period, they'll usually order one for me without my asking (and will order any catalogues I do as for anyhow...) That, and I like to try to keep my money somehwere near home...
