Rock Krawler issues

Bought the Rock Krawler long arm 3-link upgrade back in April. I just got around to compiling all the other upgrades desired and bolting it all on. Yes, pretty much bolt on other than the sleeves welded into the frame. Did a trial run up off of Daken road and it performed and rode better than expected.

(I know cheesy flex shot)

Went to make an adjustment to the length of one of the arms and this happened as soon as I loosed the bolt on the lower control arm....

I was actually able to weld the fragments back onto the ball and put it all back together. Obviously a temporary fix, but it’s my DD so I had no other choice. Called RK and they seem to be having an issue with over hardened balls, sounds like a personal problem, unless you have over hardened balls yourself. I was very pleased with their customer service and they are rush shipping me a replacement ball today. I guess that will give me a chance to upgrade thier problematic grease zert at the same time. Just FYI for anyone running the newest generation RK 3-link, or thinking about it.

I have a spare here at the house. If you need it to get your Jeep up and running again give me a call at (303) 704-3626. The only thing I ask is to replace it with a new one when you get it. Let me know.

Tom; Thanks for the offer !! I'll hold off until tuesdays replacement arrives. I'm driving it on a limited basis and its holding together. No red cone run for me this weekend.

Yes, little tight on the lines. I have some replacements already in place, along with a semi complete bumpstop modification front and rear.
