Met up with a guy who is trying to sell his right hand drive XJ. Although it is a 2WD, it is very well equipped and would be a blast as a pre-runner of sorts. He's looking for low $5000. Let me know if you would be interested and I'll pass along your info.

Well to be fair, you really need to compare like for like. Comparing these two is like comparing Detroit to Paris. Yes they are both Cities....

They need to be at least in the same region as well. BTW- I love the burnout on the rocks (not really). Now I know why he wants Dana 60's, he answer to no traction is more skinny pedal! Remind me NOT to be behind this guy as he's throwing rocks 50' to his rear.

i wouldn't pay more than 4000 for either...

thing has some issues for 5500$.
stock gears/axles.

As mentioned above, the shocks will need replaced. I also never installed the correct bump stops or limiting straps. Not a big deal, but it's something I planned on doing if I was going to keep it.

-The front exhaust/Intake manifold bolt broke off in the head, causing an exhaust leak. I went to extract the broke bolt, and ending up cracking the corner of the casting off the head. It is not enough to ruin the head or cause it to leak coolant, just enough to piss me off and cause an exhaust leak. I priced a new head and you can get one off ebay including core charge for $300, completely rebuilt with a new valve job. I am done with this jeep so I will not be replacing it.

-Lastly, there is a vibration coming from either the rear drive shaft or t-case. I havent had any time to pin point it, but there is basically a clicking when you drive down the road.

I have it up on the local craigslist for $5500. I am willing to negotiate as I would like to sell fast because my plates and insurance expire May 25th. Being sold as-is.
