To me a fuel cell is a device that produces DC power using hydrogen as the fuel. Or a Mantra Energy MRFC fuel cell that runs on Formic acid made from renewable power and CO2 waste gasses from industry

What is the difference between an attached sump and a baffled sump?
I see wide variations in the tank coating too, any thoughts on that?

Level sender as I remember it was different pre 90-1(?) , nothing after market comes close. I think they flipped the ohms for full and empty around 91.
Had a hell of a time finding a nos 86 20 gallon sending unit for a carbureted jeep.
Gas tank was easy to source, never knew how beat up the old one was until I pulled it.
I'd recommend New for the tank just because, you'll also get a extra gallon or two of capacity because if the way they make it.

I got a new tank and sender/pump made by Spectra. Best price was Amazon, 1st tank was dented so returned for exchange. (They are not boxed with any extra protection.) Hunting down new tank top vents, filler hose, grommets and whatever for total overhaul ratcheted up costs and time.
