Hi all,

In the process of installing a new trans cooler and plumbing. I'm going to be using -6AN fittings and Russell Twist-lok hose throughout. Is there an adapter out there that I can use to replace those annoying quick connect fittings at the radiator?

There are adapters to AN yes.. But you aren't really replacing them unless you weld bungs to your radiator.

Fittings available at summit racing

I believe just at the trans side though. In SoCal we generally delete the in radiator cooler as it does not get cold

Might be able to use compression styled tube adapter fittings. It worked but after doing the adapters and fittings there wasn't much point in doing it as the overall assemble ended up longer and more finicky then the stock stuff.

Did you cut the tip of the output tip off? When using tubing adaptrs on fuel rails, i cut th nipple down significantly. I cut behind the flange thats used for the quick disconnect.
